You can expect a lot out of Carnival Cruise Lines It is a genuine pleasure to sail out of Galveston. Cruising out of Texas on the Conquest or the Ecstasy is a real treat and it is so easy.

Carnival Cruise Lines, a part of the Carnival Corporation which operates over 24 ships, is a pioneer in the concept of less expensive and shorter cruises, but it now offers so much more that all that! Carnival Cruise Lines calls its cruise ships "The Fun Ships" and provides as much fun on their cruise liners as possible. Carnival caters to first time cruisers. In fact, we took our first cruise on Carnival and 'loved it'.

Yes, Texas Cruise Company books fabulous cruises on ships from many other cruise lines including Crystal, Royal Caribbean, MSC, Norwegian, and others, We serve all cruise lines including the ultra cool Seaborne for our clients around the world, but Carnival is a great starting point to begin your world of cruising. It's just so much fun and so relaxing and the food is great! We could go on and on..........The very best thing you can do is call us and let us help you plan a cruise. You will REALLY see we make a big difference in helping you all along the way.

Carnival is well into the process of spending over $250 million on its "Evolutions of Fun" program in which the Fantasy class of ships will be completely renovated. This class ship includes the Carnival Ecstasy which sails out of Galveston and the Ecstasy looks great. Outdoor recreation areas have been expanded and Adults only areas have been incorporated into the design. This is good for families and gives a chance to let "Camp Carnival" shine with plenty of children's activities onboard.

The enhancements include the Carnival Comfort Bed sleep system with plush mattresses, luxurious duvets and high quality linens and pillows a variety of cuisine enhancements, as well as "Wi-Fi" internet access in virtually all public areas and cellular phone service. We have 'never' been disapointed with the food and service on a Carnival Cruise. Yes, it's that good.

No Kids running around?

we don't mind children at all, but some adults just like to be with other adults sometimes. For instance, when the Carnival Inspiration emerges from its month long dry dock in early October, it will be the first Carnival ship to feature a brand new adults-only area called “Serenity.”

Designed as an ocean-going oasis for relaxation, tranquility and comfort, the new “Serenity” areas are part of Carnival’s $250 million “Evolutions of Fun” ship enhancement initiative which is resulting in a dramatic transformation of the line’s eight “Fantasy-class” vessels.

The “Serenity” areas will be located in a secluded aft section of the ship that provides for spectacular ocean vistas. The stunning new design will feature plush chaise lounges and chairs. Colorful oversize umbrellas and a separate relaxation area will also provide the opportunity for guests to enjoy this new area in shaded comfort. Two whirlpools will be available to offer the ultimate relaxing escape.

Complete bar service will be provided by attentive waiters offering a tempting selection of icy cocktails and frozen concoctions. For guests interested in a snack or casual meal, the Lido Restaurant is conveniently located nearby.

“We continually strive to provide a high quality cruise vacation that provides our guests with a wide variety of choices and experiences,” said Vicki Freed, Carnival’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “Our new ‘Serenity’ retreat will provide another great new option for those seeking a relaxing alternative to the other exciting outdoor activities and entertainment facilities available on board,” she added.

The new “Serenity” adults-only areas are just one component of Carnival’s wide-ranging “Evolutions of Fun” initiative, cruising's most ambitious ship enhancement program.

Other new features to be incorporated into “Fantasy-class” vessels include the Carnival WaterWorks expansive aqua parks featuring 300-foot-long corkscrew water slides, double-lane racing slides and various water-spray apparatus, as well as a new design style and features for the main pool areas.

The Carnival Inspiration and Carnival Imagination will be the first two “Fantasy-class” ships to include all of the “Evolutions of Fun” enhancements, which are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. By 2009, all “Fantasy-class” ships are expected to be completed, including the “Serenity” areas and fabulous new transformation of the open decks.

Additional components of the “Evolutions of Fun” program include fully remodeled staterooms and suites including new bathrooms, flat-screen televisions in staterooms and select public areas, atrium lobby bars, updated sound and lighting systems in various lounges and clubs, coffee bars, nine-hole miniature golf courses, new art and photo galleries, New York-style delis in the Lido restaurants, and purpose-built conference facilities.

“Evolutions of Fun” also encompasses a number of family-friendly enhancements for the “Fantasy-class,” including new children’s play areas -- part of the line’s top-rated “Camp Carnival” program -- new facilities for the “Club O2” teen program, custom-designed spaces geared toward 12- to 14-year olds, and 50 interconnecting staterooms – perfect for large families or family gatherings.

The new resort-style main pool areas, located mid-ship on Lido Deck, will feature striking umbrellas providing shaded seating at pool’s edge along the tiled “beach” bordering the circumference of the pool. The pool and beach area will feature eye-catching blue tile with yellow accents, reminiscent of the Caribbean’s aqua waters infused with tropical sunshine. A thatched roof will cover one of the two whirlpools at either end of the swimming pool, providing guests the option of shaded or sunny relaxation in the bubbling water.

Spectacular new “Carnival WaterWorks” aqua parks will be introduced on Veranda Deck aft on Fantasy-class ships and will feature a four-deck-high, 300-foot-long spiraling tube water slide, the biggest, longest and most elaborate in cruising. A separate 82-foot-long triple-lane water slide will be featured, as well, while much of this deck area will be occupied by an expansive spray park that will offer multiple and varied water spray apparatus, creating cool and exhilarating fun for kids and adults, alike. Both the mid-ship pool areas and “Carnival WaterWorks” parks will be accented by comfortable lounge chairs and teak decking. The first two ships to begin receiving these features, as well as “Serenity” adults-only deck areas, are the Carnival Imagination and Carnival Inspiration later this year, with implementation on the balance of the line’s Fantasy-class fleet (which includes Carnival's Ecstasy out of Galveston) expected to be completed by the end of 2009.

“Evolutions of Fun” also includes renovations to virtually every guest area on the line’s eight Fantasy-class ships, the Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Sensation, Carnival Fascination, Carnival Imagination, Carnival Inspiration, Carnival Elation and Carnival Paradise.

Many aspects of the “Evolutions of Fun” program have already been implemented on several ships, including fully remodeled staterooms, suites, and bathrooms, flat-screen televisions in staterooms and select public areas, atrium lobby bars, updated sound and lighting systems in various lounges and clubs, coffee bars, nine-hole miniature golf courses, new art and photo galleries, New York-style delis in the Lido restaurants, and purpose-built conference facilities.

The program also includes makeovers of the ships’ 12,000-square-foot spa facilities, custom-designed clubs for the 12-14 year old age group under the line’s top-rated “Camp Carnival” children’s program, inter-connecting staterooms on some ships, and elaborate new sound and lighting systems in the ships’ main show lounges. “The Fantasy-class ships are already tremendously popular, and the upgrades and enhancements we are introducing through ‘Evolutions of Fun’ will take the guest experience to an entirely new level,” said Freed.

We love Carnival, the management, the district managers, and all the way up tp the "Big Boss", Bob Dickinson. He recently retired and we wish him the very best. We visited with him at the CLIA convention and he takes his responsibilities to give you a great cruise seriously. We are also members of his "wine club" and enjoy getting to know the great wines of the world. We also like his approach to the Cruise Industry and the fact that Carnival, the World's Most Popular Cruise Line, had become popular through personal service and attention to detail. We appreciated Bob taking time out to have a photo with us during his busy schedule.

  • Presidential Wine Club – Join Carnival's retired chairman Bob Dickinson in his quest to learn all about the wines of the world.

  • We highly recommend Carnival.

The spacious and comfortable accommodations in all staterooms assure passengers of ample space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone, and color television showing first-run films.

Irrespective of the stateroom you choose, interior or with ocean view, with or without balcony, suite or penthouse suite, you are assured of the same top notch personal attention. Texas Cruise Company loves Carnival. They know who they are and how to do what they do, provide 'fun'.

Carnival Cruise Lines - The Ships

Here's some information about some of the ships of Carnival Cruise Lines:

    • Carnival Conquest

We walked into our balcony room on the Conquest and went "Wow!" It's bigger than many other staterooms on other cruise ships.

About 60% of the staterooms on Carnival's Conquest have ocean view and 60% of those have balconies. Its 1,487 staterooms can carry up to 2,974 passengers and 1,150 crew members. It offers a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise out of Galveston, Texas, visiting Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico; and spending three fun days at sea. It offers lavish Vegas-style entertainment and a variety of dining options in its many restaurants. We have sailed aboard the Carnival Conquest and it is a fantastic ship. Large rooms, great food, great service, and it is beautiful. We'll sail the Carnival Conquest again soon. Ask us for travel tips!

    • Yes, we have played golf in Cozumel and had a great time. Just watch out for the Iguanas roaming all over the golf course. Not something you see all that often on your home course!

Here's a quick video of parts of the Carnival Conquest experience:

Did we mention Golf? Carnival has one of the best golf packages on the water. And it's a great thing for us at Texas Cruise Company.com because we are specialists in golf destinations and cruises. Imagine, golf in a Caribbean paradise, then returning to your luxury floating country club. It just doesn't get any better than that.

We recently took the Conquest to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel and had a great time. The ship is fantastic. Our stateroom was 'spacious'. We mean that we had plenty of room and it was a very nicely appointed room. It rivaled a good hotel room and we enjoyed the entire trip very much. One thing we did notice was all the golf clubs lined up when we went off the ship. Cozumel Country Club is a great course and tons of fun. It was easy and the golf pro on the ship accompanied our group and made sure everything went smoothly. We played with some 'good old boys' from Mississippi and had more fun than the law allows, as they say down south. They kept the Carnival golf pro laughing the entire round and then we all ended up at Carlos & Charlies. You often travel to make memories and we made some great memories that day!

Call TexasCruiseCompany.com at 1-325-835-7561 to book your next cruise and play some of the best golf of your life! Yes, we book cruises on many different cruise lines all over the world. We're very good, very prompt and look forward to meeting you.

      Ecstasy

This ship from Carnival Cruise Lines offers you time to relax and unwind at its three pools and whirlpools. Update!! The Ecstasy has been completely refurbished from head to toe and it is one classy ship. It's clean, sharp, and very spiffy!

You can book your short cruises and corporate events with confidence here.

Appease your appetite for great food with its formal and casual dining experiences. All 1,026 staterooms and 54 suites have been lavishly upgraded. The interior staterooms are comfortably spacious, and the staterooms with ocean view offer amazing views of the ocean. Ecstasy offers a 4-day Western Caribbean cruise out of Galveston, Texas to Calica/Playa del Carmen, Mexico and back with two days out in at sea.

Its 5-day Western Caribbean cruise takes you to Progresso, Yucatan and Cozumel in Mexico and back with two days at sea.

Don't visit Carlos & Charlies too long and try to get on the wrong ship. Both the Fantasy and Ecstasy offer great itineraries. The Fantasy sails out of New Orleans and is also slated for a complete renovation and refurbishing. this will make the Fantasy one fantastic ship. The Ecstasy sails out of Galveston and it is beautiful after its recent renovation. The two ships are both "Fantasy Class" ships and very similar in size and layout.

      Fantasy

This ship from Carnival Cruise Lines has a total passenger capacity of 2,052 and a crew strength of 920. The Carnival Fantasy sails out of New Orleans and we took a group of 50 on this voyage. It was great! New Orleans is recovering more and more every day and we stayed in the French Quarter in the Provencial Hotel. No damage there or anywhere we went. However, we did see residential areas that were devastated. We also took a New Orleans horse drawn buggy ride and later in the evening a "Ghost Tour" which gave a lot of history of the 'Big Easy'. We learned later our hotel was a former Confederate hospital which has seen numerous ghost sightings and 'bloody sheets'. No, we didn't see or hear any ghosts......this time.

Your 4 & 5 day Mexico vacation will start in New Orleans. The convenience of leaving from this great city makes it easy to get away to see the very best of the Western Caribbean in less than a week. Sail from Thursday to Monday for an exciting weekend cruise to Cozumel where you will explore ancient ruins, shop in the colorful, open-air markets, and snorkel in clear warm waters. Or sail your choice of two 5 day cruises: Mondays or Saturdays to Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Carnival is the world's most popular cruise line with a fleet of 22 "fun ships" operating voyages ranging from three to 16 days in length to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, New England, Bermuda, Europe, and the Greek Isles. Carnival currently has three new ships on order - the 112,000 ton Carnival Splendor scheduled to enter service in 2008, the 130,000 ton Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic - to be the largest "Fun Ships" ever constructed scheduled for delivery in October 2009 and June 2011 respectivly.

Call Texas Cruise Company to book your "Fun Ship" cruise today. Bookmark our website for easy reference. We really want to be your personal travel agents and get to know you and your family. When you refer to "my travel agent" we want it to be us you are talking about.
